Where did DRIS start?

DRIS is backed by over 50 years of science-based agronomy analysis.

DRIS was developed by DR. E.R. Beaufils in the 1970’s.

DRIS (Diagnosis and Recommendation Integrated System) was developed as a statistical analysis tool that analyzes soil and leaf samples to determine the nutrient status of the crops. DRIS is a proven scientific method of analysis and has now been developed in a fully integrated recommendation system

Ronald Schroder had the privilege of studying with Dr. Beaufils and refining the DRIS model for 10 years in partnership with Beaufils.

After the passing of Dr. Beaufils, Ronald, our Senior Agronomist, took over the DRIS system and has made a lot of additional improvements over the last twenty years.

DRIS is the only holistic system taking into account Soil, Tissue and Sap analysis.

WHY
Solving the Root Cause

Modern agriculture is under pressure. Soils are tired. Fertilizers cost more but deliver less. Crop quality is going down. And many farmers are stuck in systems that don’t tell the full story of what their crops really need.

Plants need more than just nutrients. They need balance. They need oxygen, biology, and energy to grow strong. Without these, even the best fertilizers fall short.

That’s why DRIS exists. It’s a system built to bring clarity to complexity — to help farmers stop guessing and start growing with confidence

WHAT
A Better Way to Understand Nutrition

DRIS stands for Diagnosis and Recommendation Integrated System. It’s a proven method to understand the balance between nutrients — not just what’s low or high, but what’s working together, and what’s holding your crop back.

HOW
From Static Data to Practical Decisions

DRIS analyzes your soil, leaf, and sap data using nutrient ratios.

It identifies what’s limiting, what’s excessive, and what’s out of balance.

It connects nutrient issues to soil structure and biology.

It gives you a clear action plan — based on energy, not just inputs
